INTANGIBLE
AIM A LITTLE HIGHER
Passed to the bridge September 2007 after a long
life.
She was one of the last of her line. She is very
much missed by myself and my husband David.

Banker arrived from his
breeders (Debra Rimkus (Bach of OH) and Bella Villa Thompson (Belmark
of OH)) in June 2004 by plane. He weighed 11 lbs upon arrival.
His rabies certificate
and other records indicate he was 17 lbs two months prior to shipping.
From the moment of his
arrival he had bloody diarrhea.
Not even 10 months later
we sent this poor sick boy to the Bridge because a blockage now
in his rectum wouldn't allow him to go to the bathroom anymore.
He had arrived very sick
and we later after a necropsy found out he had 4 different types
of cancer, that was slowly killing him. The bloody diarrhea was
an indicator from the first that he had something wrong.
Our vet records (which
we can provide by email) show all of the work we did to try and
diagnose his illness. He was wormed multiple times, put on antibiotics,
he had numerous tests and xrays done trying to find the cause
of his illness.
He was too ill to ship
again back to his breeders, our vet would not authorize shipping
of this animal again.
A necropsy was done after
his death indicated 4 different types of cancer. This was done
not only by our vet but by Guelph University (equivalent of Cornell
in the US).
Please email
me if you wish to see a copy of his cancer report.
He had a few good months
pain free and was able to eat and live like a normal dog. He lived
in our house, learned what a t.v. was, what radios were, how to
interact with humans, etc.
Before we found out that
his ailments were cancer, we managed to have one litter only from
him (1 cc collected by syringe once).
Banker is now at peace
and pain free. He could not be returned to his breeders because
they shipped him ill due to our shipping regulations. They also
refused to follow their contract about a genetically sound and
healthy dog at purchase.
We paid over $2000 for
this dog plus $1500 in Vet bills to allow his last months to be
lived in peace and comfort. We did all that was vet and humanly
possible to find out what was wrong with this dog. He was ill
from his arrival.
We have since won our court case in Canada
against these two breeders.

When
You Are Called To The Bridge
When
you are called to the bridge,
Our
world seems so much more quiet.
We
know that you were needed there,
But
we miss your smiling face here.
You
no longer hurt, because you are healed;
You
fly on the wings of eagles, because you were happy;
You
bark and play, because you were secure;
You
wait for your soul mate, because you were loved.
So
on this day, we cry our tears,
As
we miss your presence in our lives.
But
we smile through our tears,
Knowing
you will be waiting to join us at the bridge
